Suni KATHY CHOW
Executive Director (ext.106)

Kathy has over ten years experience in program development and nonprofit management with various non-profit agencies. Prior to coming to AAJA, Kathy was the Director for Hands On Sacramento, a volunteer action center that provided volunteer opportunities in three counties. Kathy also worked for six years as a public affairs representative for The Sacramento Bee where she was in charge of their employee volunteer program, managing charitable contribution, special projects, and the development of client relations with businesses such as the Asian, Hispanic, Black and Metro Chambers. Kathy has also consulted with companies such as VSP and lead workshops on multicultural marketing. Kathy is certified by the Newspaper Association of America as a Diversity Facilitator, and has served on the advisory council for the National Corporate Volunteer Council and the National Hands On Schools Council for Hands On Network & Points of Light Institute.


SuniANTONIO M. SALAS, MDIV, MA
Membership & Chapter Development Manager (ext.105)

Before Antonio joined AAJA's staff in 2000, he was with the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum, a San Francisco-based national organization. A former Capuchin Franciscan friar from the Mariana Islands, Antonio also holds a master of divinity degree from the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology, and an M.A. from the Graduate Theological Union, Franciscan School of Theology, in Berkeley. He was born and raised on Guam with roots in Saipan, and resides in Oakland, California.


Suni ALBERT LEE
Professional Programs Coordinator (ext.107)

Albert has managed AAJA's professional programs since 2001. Previously, he organized a media arts conference and 20th Anniversary dinner for the National Asian American Telecommunications Association (NAATA), now known as the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM). He has coordinated national, regional and sectional conferences and seminars for M Society West, NAAAP-SF and Alpha Phi Omega, the largest international co-ed service fraternity in the United States. Albert co-authored a history book of the SFSU chapter of A-Phi-O, helping the chapter receive the fraternity's national Josiah Frank Historian's Award in 2000. He has a bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Asian American Studies from San Francisco State University, and enjoys ballroom dancing, Argentine Tango and West Coast Swing.


Suni NAO VANG
Student Programs Coordinator (ext.102)

Nao graduated from Fresno State University with a degree in Cultural Anthropology. He has been involved with non-profit work, and particularly student programs for seven years. Before working for AAJA, he ran some of the student programs at the Fresno Metropolitan Museum, providing science and art education for all the Central San Joaquin Valley. Nao enjoys living in the Bay Area. He likes a variety of food and music. In his spare time, he hangs out with his family, which consists of his wife, two dogs, and two cats.


Suni ANNABELLE A. UDO-O'MALLEY
Events & Fundraising Coordinator (ext.108)

Annabelle first joined AAJA as a member in 1987 and worked as a student reporter on the first AAJA "Voices" convention news project in 1991. As a San Francisco State University grad in Journalism and Asian American Studies, she continues to work as a freelance arts and entertainment writer and does production for special AAPI radio broadcasts on KPFA 94.1 FM in Berkeley. She lives with her hubby in San Francisco.
