AAJA appoints Archith Seshadri as representative to RTDNA

SeshadriArchith1AAJA is pleased to announced that its board has voted to approve Archith Seshadri to be AAJA’s ex-officio representative to RTDNA for 2015.

Archith Seshadri will be a news desk editor for CNN International starting May 29.

His involvement with AAJA dates back to 2007 where he joined as a student member. He was also co-chair of AAJA’s Small Market Broadcast group. He has held several positions on the local board including secretary, vice president and currently serves as the president of the AAJA Atlanta board. Archith is also a graduate of AAJA’s ELP program in 2014. In Charlotte he has participated in RTDNA student workshops and scholarship banquets.

RTDNA is the world’s largest professional organization exclusively serving the electronic news profession. RTDNA members include local and network news executives, news directors, producers, reporters, digital news professionals, as well as educators and students. Founded as a grassroots organization in 1946, RTDNA works to protect the rights of electronic journalists in the courts and legislatures throughout the country, promotes ethical standards in the industry, provides members with training and education and honors outstanding work in the profession.
