The 2014 VOICES project will support 17 college students aspiring to become journalists during the national Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) convention in Washington DC this August. Students receive valuable multimedia journalism training throughout the week from seasoned professionals in the media industry. Read how VOICES helped 2013 students Yumi Araki and Shako Liu grow both professionally and personally.
Digital content is published on the AAJA VOICES website, as well as a newsprint product distributed to more than 850 convention attendees.
Sponsorship opportunities are available to promote your company organization digitally and in print. Please contact Ruth Liao, VOICES Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions or details on sponsorship levels.
AAJA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that relies on the financial support of individuals and groups in order to provide for meals, lodging and transportation of VOICES students and faculty volunteers.
