The deadline to submit your work or nominate the work of a journalist or a team for the Al Neuharth Award for Innovation in Investigative Journalism has been extended to Friday, April 7.
Recognize groundbreaking work that creatively uses digital tools in the role of being a community’s watchdog. Special consideration is given to journalism that helps a community understand and address important issues. Only current AAJA members may nominate candidates’ work or submit their own entries. The winning entry will be given $5,000 and an award plaque. Award winners will be announced at the 2017 AAJA National Convention in Philadelphia at the Gala Awards & Scholarship Banquet on July 29. This award is offered in partnership with Gannett Foundation.
