Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) successfully advocates for diversity in newsrooms, ensures fair coverage of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander (AAPI) issues, and offers pipeline educational programs to help aspiring and current AAPI journalists advance their professional careers.
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit with over 1,600 members spread throughout 21 chapters in the United States and Asia, we rely upon financial support of individuals in order to train journalists and provide educational programs to the community.
Popular programs such as MediaWatch, the Executive Leadership Program, JCamp, Voices and MediaAccess workshops for AAPI communities would not exist without the generosity of donors. Contributions also allow AAJA to award more than $25,000 in scholarships and stipends each year to aspiring, new, or struggling AAPI journalists.
If you care about diversity and the future of journalism, join AAJA in its mission by contributing a tax-deductible donation today.
