The Executive Leadership Program Introductory Session will run from Tuesday, Aug. 20 through Thursday, August 22. The convention runs from Wednesday, August 21 through Saturday, August 24.

Are you a mid-career journalist wondering how to make the right professional move? Are you wondering how to break into management? ELP is for you!
The Executive Leadership Program’s (ELP) Introductory Session is a program available exclusively to AAJA members. It is designed to help Asian American and Pacific Islander journalists develop the skills required to become newsroom leaders and executives. This three-day program will help you gain clarity on your career goals, recognize your strengths, identify needed improvement areas and arm you with the skills to bring those goals to life.

Eligibility: AAJA members with at least five years of professional journalism or the media industry experience are encouraged to submit an application to the 2013 ELP Introductory Session.
Cost: $1,000
