Tim Russert, NBC News' Washington bureau chief and moderator of "Meet the Press," died today at age 58 after collapsing at the studio while working on Sunday's show.
Russert spoke at AAJA's J Camp 2004 in Washington D.C. J Camp Director Clea Benson said, "We are deeply saddened that the world, and journalism, has lost Tim Russert. He was a generous and inspiring figure who gave his time to help instill a passion for the craft in the next generation of young reporters. The lessons that he taught J Camp students will live on."
