Cheryl Lu-Lien Tan recently signed a book deal with Disney's Hyperion House and will spend the next year researching and writing a food memoir, "A Tiger in the Kitchen."
Arthur Chien will share some of his food smarts on the launch of "Dining PIX", a new half-hour series on WPIX/Ch. 11 in New York.
Jennifer 8. Lee, author of The New York Times bestseller, "The Fortune Cookie Chronicles," takes on a quest to understand Chinese food and the people who make it.
Gil Asakawa, author of "Being Japanese American: A JA Sourcebook for Nikkei, Hapa. . . and Their Friends," stresses the importance of food in Japanese American identity.
Elisa Ung is a food critic and dining columnist food critic and dining columnist for The Record (Bergen County, N.J.). She reviews restaurants writes a Sunday column on dining called The Corner Table.
Christina Eng has written about food for The Oakland Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle, Budget Travel, Saveur, Relish, Gastronomica, NPR and Culinate, and maintains an online food diary.
