Commerce Secretary Gary Locke to Speak at Opening Night Reception

AAJA is pleased to announce that Secretary Gary Locke will be speaking at this year's Opening Reception which takes place on Wednesday, August 12 at 7 p.m. Locke, who was appointed by President Obama as the 36th Secretary of Commerce, is the first Chinese American to hold this post in a president's cabinet. This year's opening ceremony will also include a lively performance by Gund Kwok, the only Asian Women Lion & Dragon Dance Troupe in the United States.
