About Hawai'i

With Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders the majority demographic group in the Islands, the Hawai‘i chapter is focused on professional development and social events for its student and professional members across the state. We have held college nights to bring students together with professionals, and organized media access workshops for nonprofits and other community members. Chapter members in Honolulu have held social events such as karaoke nights and beach picnics, and have volunteered with culture-based organizations in the community. The Hawai‘i chapter also awards financial assistance to members for professional development on an ad-hoc basis.
