Search is on for new AAJA Executive Director

The AAJA Executive Search Committee has released the job announcement for a new Executive Director. Current AAJA E.D. Rene Astudillo previously announced he was stepping down effective November 28 this year after almost 10 years in this position.

The Search Committee was appointed last year by AAJA National President Jeanne Mariani-Belding. In recent months, the committee has been working with an Executive Transitions consultant group –CompassPoint -through a grant from the Annie E. Casey Foundation -- to help with the search process.

Deadline for applications is October 1, 2008 with a potential start date of December 1, 2008 or sooner.
