AAJA Texas Chapter Pledges $10,300

June 25, 2010

Dear AAJA members,

Change continues to shape our industry, spawning challenges and opportunity almost daily.

It is in this catalytic atmosphere that AAJA Texas recently agreed to pledge $10,300 to the AAJA National general fund. We do so in the hope that National will sustain the vision that the group's founders envisioned, while planning for today's changed realities.

Shifting winds have transformed AAJA Texas, as well. We have a fresh leadership team and a new website that ranks among National's best. We recently held mixers in Dallas and Houston and have more events in the works, including a statewide reception and a social media workshop.

We remain bullish on the future. And we firmly believe that our work, both in Texas and at National, has only just begun. Thanks for your time and continued support.

In unity
(on behalf of AAJA Texas officers Iris Kuo, Aman Batheja, Thomas Huang and Caroling Lee),
