In response to a study showing a lack of representation of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in news management, AAJA has compiled a list of members in corporate and top news management positions.
The management list recognizes those who have achieved success in their careers.
In a study recently commissioned by AAJA, researchers at the Medill School of Journalism concluded that Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) are under-represented in both newspaper and broadcast news management. Media companies surveyed as part of the study indicated that there are few AAPIs in the management job pool.

AAJA has also compiled a list of current and past AAJA members in supervisory and mid-level positions, which serves as a reference for media companies looking to fill management positions.
