Comcast dropped ImaginAsian TV from its San Francisco line-up last month. Andrew Johnson, vice president of communications for Comcast in California, said "iaTV/ImaginAsian had very low viewership and there is a wide range of alternatives for more highly requested in-language Asian Programming." Johnson said Comcast provides 17 channels targeted to the Asian American community in San Francisco. In addition to Comcast, the AAPI community has lost AZN and Pacific Time within the past few months.
