The Rafu Shimpo: Feedlot Near Minidoka Gets OK'd
Jerome County, Idaho, Commissioners approved a feedlot next to the Minidoka Interment National Monument, a National Historic Site. During WWII, 120,000 Japanese Americans were interned at Minidoka. Opponents of the feedlot cited the potential for odor and flies.
