Hokubei: Sac'to Screening of 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' Canceled Due to Protests
A free public screening of the classic movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's" was canceled because of protests by Asian Americans. The 1961 movie features Mickey Rooney portraying a Japanese with stereotypic attributes. Organizers of Sacramento, California's Screen on the Green pulled the plug on the Aug. 23 flick.
