The Asian Law Caucus and the Electronic Frontier Foundation are concerned about a new policy that allows custom agents to seize, read and copy documents from any traveler without suspicion of wrongdoing. ALC says South Asians and Muslim-looking persons can be targeted inappropriately and detained for interrogation and searches.
