Burmese Americans launched a "Global Action for Burma" May 18, the day Burma's Aung San Suu Kyi was set for trial for a security breach after an American swam to her home and stayed two days. Suu Kyi, an activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner, has been under house arrest since 1990 when a military junta nullified an election that would have made her Prime Minister.
