Civil rights activist Richard Aoki, poet Al Robles, scholars Ronald Takaki and Him Mark Lai, and judge Sandra Otaka all passed away in the last three months. Elaine Low, a blogger for Hyphen magazine, compiled a collection of remembrances from community members who knew them.
