Twin Cities: Photo Shootout 2005
The Art of Minnesota
From the towering skyscrapers of Minneapolis to ethnic festivals in St. Paul, from drag shows to jazz shows, this years annual photo shootout participants had a chance to capture the multifaceted culture of the Twin Cities, Minnesota.
This year's winners were Sunghyun Jun (first place), Woo Chan Joo (second place), Tim Gruber (third place), and Natalie Schrik (fourth place).
Jun's name will be inscribed on the Dith Pran Trophy, named in honor of AAJA friend and New York Times photographer, whose life as a survivor of the Cambodian holocaust was portrayed in the movie The Killing Fields. As first place winner, Jun also received a Canon digital camera.
