ASNE Writes Judge in Support of San Francisco Chronicle Reporters

The American Society of Newspaper Editors has written to the federal judge handling the case of two San Francisco Chronicle reporters who refused to divulge their sources about a story related to Barry Bonds and steroid use. ASNE asked the judge to recognize the First Amendment and editorial independence.
