RTNDA President Barbara Cochran to Retire

The president of the Radio-Television News Directors Association (RTNDA), Barbara Cochran, will retire in June 2009. She will continue as a consultant for the organization, which serves the electronic news profession. She has been a strong advocate for electronic journalists and confronted the Federal Communications Commission and U.S. Supreme Court. At the time of her retirement, Cochran would have served 12 years as president.
