Randall Yip Becomes Senior Producer of Consumer Unit at ABC7/KGO-TV

Randall Yip was promoted to Senior Producer of the consumer unit at ABC7/KGO-TV in San Francisco. He had been producer of the unit. Earlier this month, he also received an Emmy nomination in the category of specialized reports from the Northern California chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. If that weren't enough, he and reporter Michael Finney were honored by the California Reinvestment Coalition, a coalition of 200 consumers groups in California, for their work covering complex financial issues impacting the state's low income residents. Yip is a former AAJA Vice President for Broadcast, 2005 AAJA Member of the Year, a 1995 graduate of AAJA's Executive Leadership Program and ELP's Outstanding Leadership Award winner in 2006.
