Joann Ng Promoted at The Oregonian

Joann Ng, copy editor for The Oregonian, has been promoted to editor of the new Listings desk. She will be responsible for creating and managing a team that includes one assistant editor and eight input experts. In announcing the promotion, Peter Bhatia, executive editor, said, "Joann is uniquely suited to run this operation, bringing her superb copy-editing skills, strong organizational talents, and calm, kind manner to what will be a very complicated task." Ng is a graduate of the ELP Class of 1998 in New York City.
