About AAJA Photojournalists
The mission of AAJA Photojournalists is to provide a representation for AAJA photojournalists at the national level; to strengthen AAJA photojournalism programming, photo studio fund raising, networking opportunities, and photograph exposure during convention; and to provide regular updates to the AAJA national board for an improved communication channel.
Co-Director Darrell Miho
Darrell is a freelance photographer, videographer and multimedia producer based in Las Vegas, NV. His editorial clients include Sports Illustrated, the New York Times, Golf Digest and the Honolulu Star Advertiser. While he specializes in sports and portraits, he is an avid traveler and spends a lot of time in Asia working on long term documentary projects to make this world a better place. Co-Director Alex Wong
Alex is a staff photographer at Getty Images based in Washington, D.C. He covers U.S. politics, including the White House and Capitol Hill. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Alex fell in love with photography and moved to the U.S. in his late 20s to study it in New York City. In the last 17 years, he has covered many political events, including national conventions, campaign trails, elections, and presidential inaugurations. Alex is a member of the AAJA-DC Chapter and has helped coordinate the photo silent auction for the 2015 & 2016 AAJA Conventions.
