The world's largest journalism convention, will be held July 23-27, 2008 in Chicago. Held once every four years, this gathering will bring together members and supporters of the Asian American Journalists Association, the National Association of Black Journalists, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and the Native American Journalists Association.

To qualify for AAJA on-site member rates, you must be a 2008 AAJA member by Tuesday, July 15. Join or renew now by going to the membership page. June 6, 2008: UNITY '08 Convention to Feature Prime-time Presidential Candidates' Forum. Presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain have been invited to appear at UNITY '08 at the Presidential Candidates' Forum July 24 at 7:00 p.m. CT, with a live CNN telecast.
April 16, 2008: 
Martin Bashir, co-anchor of ABC’s “Nightline” and correspondent on “20/20”, is keynote speaker at AAJA Gala Banquet. The banquet will be held Friday, July 25, 2008 at the Grand Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Chicago starting at 7:00 p.m.
