Q&A WITH AL FRANKEN
Not to be missed! The legendary comic and political commentator shares his thoughts on the media in this special Saturday session. Attendees will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Al Franken is one of the most talked-about political comedians of the past 20 years. He currently hosts the radio program,"The Al Franken Show," which airs nationwide on Air America. Franken has written four New York Times best sellers, as well as the screenplay for the Meg Ryan movie, "When A Man Loves a Woman." He has won numerous Emmys writing for "Saturday Night Live," where he created such memorable characters as Stuart Smalley. CHAPTER CHALLENGE
Represent your chapters or cheer on your friends over some cutthroat games of lawn bowling and trivia. Comedian Henry Cho is emceeing. Enjoy the pub's rooftop bowling green, which overlooks downtown Minneapolis. The top-place team takes all prizes, including the coveted AAJA Chapter Challenge trophy. CLOSING PARTY
Meet convention-goers for the final time in the Twin Cities. During the first hour, join in the historic paddle boat cruise, boarding from Harriet Island in St. Paul. The vessel returns to the island, where you can come and go during the evening. Transportation provided to and from this event.
