Come out for a fun and unique evening where hundreds of items will be up for bid. Proceeds help fund AAJA scholarships, internships and other national programs. This event will be emceed byTi-Hua Chang, general assignment and investigative reporter, WWOR/My9, New York and a live performance by New York-based Okinawan pop group, happyfunsmile! SPONSORED BY HARRAH'S ENTERTAINMENT. BEVERAGES SPONSORED BY BUD LIGHT.

Now Accepting Silent Auction Contributions
AAJA is setting the bar high for the 2009 AAJA Silent Auction by exceeding last year's goal. In order to accomplish this feat, we need your help. We are looking for chapters to bring forth the best their region and media have to offer, from fantasy trips to historic front-cover reprints from the New York Times. Of course, we are also looking for everything in between--sports memorabilia, high-ticket toys, and high-fashion attire. Please drop a line to Romey Louangvilay at R.Louangvilay@gmail.com if you have something to contribute. Please be sure to indicate on the box "AAJA SILENT AUCTION" and if possible to enclose a note indicating the market value of the item you are donating. If the contribution is an offer to be redeemed at a future date, include a description or voucher for the offer on letterhead and send to the same address indicated below.
