AAJA National offers the following programs for students:

Asian American Student Broadcast Journalists

Attention all AAJA broadcast students! If you want to network with other broadcast students, then the new AASBJ (Asian American Student Broadcast Journalists) is a group for you. AASBJ will provide a support system and an opportunity for you to get to know your peers. This is open to all current AAJA broadcast students. If you are interested please contact Taylor Mirfendereski or Maxine Park, co-coordinators of AASBJ.

Mary Moy Quan Ing Memorial: $1,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior who is enrolling in college and pursuing a journalism career.

AAJA/Sacramento Bee Internship

In partnership with The Sacramento Bee, AAJA Sacramento is sponsoring a 12-week, internship program for aspiring print, photo, graphics and multimedia journalists. A stipend of $570 a week will be provided by AAJA Sacramento. The program begins in May or June 2010, depending on the intern's availability. Attach four copies of the application materials..
