Suni Marcus Brauchli, executive editor, The Washington Post
Brauchli oversees The Post's news operations, which serve not only the newspaper's home audience in the US capital but a growing national and international audience online and on mobile platforms. He reports to Katharine Weymouth, the Post's publisher and CEO of Washington Post Media. Before joining The Post, Brauchli was managing editor, the top news job, at The Wall Street Journal. He oversaw the paper's US international and digital editions and had editorial responsibility for MarketWatch, the financial news website. He also oversaw the development of the luxury lifestyle magazine, WSJ.

Suni Mei-Mei Chan, president and publisher, The News-Press Media Group
Chan went to Florida from The Seattle Times Company, where she had been the Vice President of Advertising and, before that, the Vice President of Circulation and Consumer Marketing. In 2003, Mei-Mei was recognized for innovation as Sales Executive of the Year by the Newspaper Association of America. Mei-Mei has held editor and reporter positions at the Chicago Sun-Times, USA Weekend magazine, USA Today and the Commercial News in Danville, IL. During her time as executive editor at the Post Register in Idaho Falls, ID, she was the only Asian American editor in the country.

Suni Robert Hernandez, Assistant Professor of Professional Practice, University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism
Hernandez has been working in Web journalism for more than a decade. Prior to joining USC, he worked at The Seattle Times from 2002 until 2009, where he was promoted from news producer to senior news producer to director of development. He helped shape and execute the vision and strategy for the Web site and company, leading a team of engineers and designers in research and development focusing on creating innovative tools and applications for both staff and readers, among many other duties. His previous experience includes: Web designer and consultant for El Salvador's largest daily newspaper site, La Prensa Grafica, Web producer for San Francisco Chronicle / SFGate.com and online editor of Hearst-owned San Francisco Examiner.

Suni Fred Katayama, anchor/producer, Thomson Reuters, Moderator for ELP Advanced
Katayama is an award-winning anchor for Reuters Television based in New York. He hosts and produces segments on foreign exchange and wealth management for the multimedia financial news platform, Reuters Insider. In his career spanning print, television and new media, he has covered breaking news events such as Hurricane Katrina, 9-11 attacks, the Kobe earthquake and the Enron collapse. He has interviewed top newsmakers, including Lee Kuan Yew, Noboru Takeshita, Henry Kissinger, and Bill Gates. The tech show he anchored was a Webby Award honoree in 2007.

Suni Janet Mason, president and general manager, WZZM 13
Mason was named President & General Manager in January 1997. She previously served as Vice President / News Executive for Gannett Broadcasting. She worked with Gannett television station General Managers and News Directors to help them improve their news products. Prior to corporate, Mason was Vice President / News for eight of her 17 years at KARE 11, Gannett's NBC affiliate in Minneapolis / St. Paul. Other positions she held: News Director, Assistant News Director, Managing Editor, St. Paul Bureau Chief, local update anchor for the "Today Show", and general assignment reporter.

Suni Jeannie Park, former executive editor, People Magazine, Moderator for ELP Advanced
Park is a leader in diversity efforts in the field of journalism. She spent 22+ years at Time Inc., working at Time, In Style, Entertainment Weekly and People and co-founding the company's Asian-American affinity group. She served as founding president of AAJA's NY chapter from 1987-1989 and as national secretary from 1991-1993. She has received AAJA's Special Recognition Award and its Leadership in Diversity Award and has been honored by the Magazine Publishers of America and the National Association of Minority Media Executives. She serves on the boards of the New York City independent school LREI, Third Street Music School Settlement and the Harvard Alumni Association and on the advisory councils of the Women's Media Center, NetKAL and the Korean American Community Foundation.

Suni Sharon Prill, publisher of the Yakima Herald Republic
Prill was named Publisher of the Yakima Herald Republic in November of 2010. As publisher, Prill oversees the day-to-day operations of the Herald Republic. In addition to the daily newspaper and website, the Yakima Herald-Republic's operations include El Sol de Yakima, a weekly Spanish language newspaper, Central Washington's largest offset commercial printing operation, an extensive commercial distribution arm, Yakima magazine and several other highly-regarded niche publications.

Suni Dennis SwansonPresident of Station Operations, FOX Television Stations Inc.
Swanson manages the 27 FOX owned-and-operated stations across the country. Prior to joining FOX Television Stations Inc, Swanson served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Viacom Television Stations Inc. He oversaw operations of the division's 39 television stations. Swanson also served as president and general manager of WNBC New York, where he was named Broadcasting & Cable's "Broadcaster of the Year" in 2002.

Suni Arthur Sulzberger, Jr., publisher, The New York Times
Sulzberger was named chairman of The New York Times Company on October 16, 1997. As the Company's senior executive, he is responsible for its long-term business strategy. Mr. Sulzberger, who became publisher of The New York Times in 1992, continues to run the Company's flagship enterprise on a day-to-day basis. Over the past decade, he has shaped and implemented innovative print, broadcast and online initiatives that are enabling the Company to compete successfully in the 21st century global media marketplace.

Suni Samantha Sutton, Vice President and Director of Courses and Seminars, Senior Coach, Handel Group
Sutton earned a Ph.D. in Biological Engineering at MIT in 2008, and a BS in Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2000. Sutton's coaching style is akin to the processes of scientific inquiry and product engineering: she and her clients gather data, watch for emerging patterns, understand the underlying causes, and then design and build a better product (your life!). Sutton couples the analytical and problem-solving skills of a scientist and engineer with the proaction and insight of a coach and mediator to guide clients in designing a life that inspires them.

Suni Darius Walker, New York bureau chief, CNN
Walker oversees all editorial resources and assignments for CNN's team of correspondents, producers, photojournalists and editors based in New York. He also oversees the business and financial news resources for CNN Worldwide. Prior to his New York assignment, Walker was the senior director of newsgathering for CNN's Washington, D.C., bureau.
