Sally is a reporter for the Associated Press’ national education beat team. Her previous assignment was in Las Vegas, leading breaking news coverage for two Southwest states. Life before the wire was spent covering municipal government at The Chicago Tribune and The Oregonian, and on the overnight cops shift at The Chicago Sun-Times.
