She is leaving The Seattle Times, where she was most recently VP for Innovation, Product & Development. She was also awarded the 2019 AAJA Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2019 AAJA Gala Scholarship & Awards Banquet during the 2019 national convention in Atlanta. Heidi Chang (AAJA-Hawai'i) was recently honored with three Society of Professional Journalists Hawaii Chapter Awards. She won a first place award for radio feature reporting for her story "Remembering A Legendary Hawaiian Musician" for National Public Radio, a first place award for radio general news/enterprise reporting for "Postal Service Marks Lunar New Year with Stamp by Kam Mak" for Voice of America and a third place award for Daily Newspaper General News/Enterprise Reporting for "A Hawaiian island got about 50 inches of rain in 24 hours. Scientists warn it's a sign of the future" for the Los Angeles Times. Murrow Award for Overall Excellence among large digital news organizations for their portfolio of work as the small but mighty video department at The Seattle Times.

 

 

 

 

 

Adam_HS.jpgAdam Rozwadowski (AAJA-New York), was recently hired as a video producer at Sports Illustrated to become a show-runner for their studio program, SI Now. Before that, he covered social issues, breaking news, and created original video content as an associate producer for NowThis. Adam's journey has previously had stops at NBC Sports, MLB Network, and CBS Sports. He's a proud alum of both UConn and Syracuse's S.I. Newhouse graduate journalism program.
