Co-Director Michael Huang
Michael Huang serves as a deputy editor for ESPN.com’s international team, focusing on enterprise and feature stories. During his seven-plus years at ESPN, Michael has overseen ESPN.com’s NBA desk, served as reporter and editor for ESPN’s UFC coverage, and most recently was in charge editorial for ESPN China team that produced the SportsCenterFeatured short film “Remade in America,” a candid look at former NBA star Stephon Marbury’s career rebirth in China. Before that, he spent 11 years in the Chicago Cubs front office as the manager of publications and creative services. He is a 1993 graduate of Marquette University and earned his M.A. in English from DePaul University in 2000. He lives in Canton, Connecticut with his wife Peggy and daughter Kaia, where he coaches and runs the U-14 Little League softball program that serves more than 160 girls.
Co-Director Victoria Lim
Victoria Lim is an award-winning journalist who set herself apart from the industry-norm almost two decades ago by maximizing video, audio, broadcast, print, online and social media platforms. A long time member of AAJA, she has served as a chapter vice president, president and national board representative, a mentor in the AAJA Mentor/Mentee program, and on convention programming committees. She and Carolyn Hong co-founded the AAJA Sports Task Force.
