Co-Director Jin Ding
Jin is the marketing and communications manager at the Pulitzer Center. In a past life, she worked as a marketing research analyst for NBC Sports in New York and as a sports reporter and Olympics correspondent in China.
Co-Director Shirley Qiu
Shirley Qiu is the audience engagement strategist at the American Press Institute. Previously, she worked at The Seattle Times, where she focused on engaging audiences for the Features section and Sunday magazine. She also previously served as the AAJA Seattle chapter secretary and national advisory board representative. She graduated from the University of Washington with a double degree in journalism and international studies.
Co-Director Samira Sadeque
Samira Sadeque is a New York-based Bangladeshi journalist and poet focusing on migration, the refugee crisis, gender and mental health. She completed her M.S. in journalism from Columbia Journalism School in 2017. Her work appears in Reuters, NPR, Washington Post's The Lily, Al Jazeera and NBC among other publications.
