Bill Sing

Bill Sing, AAJA’s first national president, was working in the business section of the Los Angeles Times when he co-founded AAJA in 1981. After reaching out to David Kishiyama and Nancy Yoshihara of the LA Times, Tritia Toyota brought in Frank Kwan and Dwight Chuman to form AAJA’s founding group. Sing discusses the hardships AAJA faced during their early years and what he envisions for AAJA’s next 40 years.
