Nancy Yoshihara

Nancy Yoshihara, a third generation Japanese American, was one of the three co-founders of AAJA working at the LA Times when the group formed in 1981. In this interview, Yoshihara details her enjoyment of writing, the early days of journalism, and the friendship and solidarity formed through AAJA. She then reflects on the changing ideas about what it means to be Asian American.
