A reunion & homecoming in Los Angeles
An AAJA Homecoming in Los Angeles
We are excited to announce that we are coming home to Los Angeles, the city of our founding in 1981. We are partnering with AAJA-Los Angeles, our founding chapter, to organize an AAJA convention that serves our members’ professional development needs, uplifts our community, facilitates important dialogues around equity and inclusion, innovation, and the evolution of newsrooms, and makes the most of what the City of Angels has to offer. We also anticipate joint programming with AAJA-Asia as we tackle important issues journalists and the industry worldwide face.
These last two years, AAJA conventions have been virtual due to the pandemic. Next year, we will bring together hundreds of participants, with unique in-person programming, training, networking and recruiting opportunities for our partners.
- NABJ and NAHJ members can submit their convention session proposals here.
- Join the Convention Planning Committee and be part of the team that brings #AAJA22 to life. Deepen connections with other AAJA members, challenge your creative leadership skills and give back to AAJA. Apply here.
